SUMMER FUN! ROCK OUT THE SUMMER of 2012 !! Martocchio Music Rock & Blues Camp is an exciting program of instrumental study and group performance. Students will participate in rock playing, song writing and improvisation. We will also cover such topics as ear/vocal training, rock band contests and rhythm workshops. Guest Faculty will include internationally renowned musicians. Students will be featured in an end of session concert showcasing all of their hard work. Two groups: Kid Rocks for students entering grades 4, 5, & 6 and Rock Heroes for students entering grade 7 & above. SUMMER JAZZ CAMP Martocchio Music Summer Jazz Camp is an exciting program of instrumental study and performance in jazz and improvisation. We offer the opportunity for music students to meet new musicians, play in a group, improve their skills and broaden their musical experiences. Daily classes are offered for beginning, intermediate and advanced jazz students. Playing jazz can be learned on any instrument. Two groups: Cool Cats for students entering grades 4, 5, & 6 and Bebop Shop for students entering grade 7 & above.
