As we enter our fifteenth year of business, we would like to thank the area parents, students, and teachers for their support in making our years of business successful ones. We will continue to provide the quality and service necessary to help enlighten these young students to the wonders of playing a musical instrument. Our school instrument rental program is designed to afford the elementary student and parent a cost effective means of trying a band or orchestral instrument. The money paid in the initial trial rental period and subsequent rental periods is applied towards the purchase price, and throughout the year we offer discounts off your remaining balance, if and when you decide to buy. Our lesson program is for students of all ages. We offer private lessons on woodwind, brass, strings, percussion, guitar, bass and more. We can also help your child either accelerate or catch up in your schools music program with private lessons. Martocchio Music is a local, family owned business. Our primary business is the retail sale and rental of band instruments, accessories and music lessons. We are affiliated with Music & Arts Centers, a national group of retail music stores, and together we rent only the finest quality music instruments. Janet and I have lived in this area for over thirty years, our roots go very deep. I am a graduate of Simsbury High School and Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Education. Janet is originally from South Windsor and is a graduate of Southern Conn. State University with an Art Degree. My dad helps out wherever needed and our children are also working in the store.
