| We at Martocchio Music want to make the learning experience fun,challenging, creative and rewarding. Martocchio Music is a local, family owned business. Our primary business is the retail sale and rental of band and orchestral instruments, the sale of accessories and sheet music, repairs and music lessons. A new addition! This September, Linda Martocchio Hart, Educational Consultant, will expand the functions of Martocchio Music from music education to a more comprehensive educational service for students of all ages. We will provide after school homework assistance in groups as well as individual tutoring.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling (MS) from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English with an Education minor (BA) from Bates College. She has devoted her entire career to furthering children’s education and preparing them for the future. Linda is excited to be joining the family business as Educational Consultant in charge of all aspects of academia. Our school instrument rental program is designed to afford the elementary student and parent a cost effective means of trying a band or orchestral instrument. The money paid in the initial trial rental period and subsequent rental periods is applied towards the purchase price, and throughout the year we offer discounts off your remaining balance, if and when you decide to buy. Our lesson program is for students of all ages. We offer private lessons on woodwind, brass, strings, percussion, guitar, bass, piano and vocal. We can also help your child either accelerate or catch up in your schools music program with private lessons. We now have 10 teaching studios, two ensemble rooms, a parents lounge and an area for recitals. Please feel free to drop by and take a tour of our new facility. Janet and I have lived in this area for over thirty-five years, our roots go very deep. I am a graduate of Simsbury High School and Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Education and State Certified. Janet is originally from South Windsor and is a graduate of Southern Conn. State University with an Art Degree. My dad helps out wherever needed and our children are also working and teaching in the store.
